Try Athletics!

If you want to TRY ATHLETICS after school hours, the place to be is at Stella Maris College. If you are just a beginner or undecided what athletic event you should try, our dedicated coaches Mr. Ramon Formosa and Mr. Daniel Saliba will give you the necessary training to prepare you according to your athletic capabilities.

The basics to all the events in Junior athletics will be covered and practiced. There will be also some time for fun games. Apart from learning something new this is an occasion to be healthier and rest for a couple of hours from school work and studying. It is important for you to know that after attending a whole year of after school athletics you can earn a Merit Certificate. If you are in the Senior school you will be awarded special credits for you profile.

Training is available every Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.00pm throughout the scholastic year. Most sessions will be held on the Athletics Track in the senior school grounds.  On rainy days , training sessions will be held in the School gymnasium downstairs.
